Agua infusionada con canela, naranja y manzana/ Infused water with cinnamon, orange and apple

El agua infusionada es una delicia, porque mantiene la frescura del agua sola, pero con un sabor muy ligero a fruta. Yo la verdad siempre he tenido problemas tomando agua sola. Ahorita, ya es prueba superada, pero me costó mucho agarrar el hábito, y más por ser adicta de la Coca Light, que todavía extraño mucho, pero ya el antojo va bajando mucho.

Tomo bastante agua en el día, durante la comida agua de fruta y antes de ir a dormir y durante la noche otra vez agua sola, pero si puedo tener opciones saludables con algo de sabor, pues lo intento. El agua infusionada es de estas opciones, pues la puedes combinar con las frutas y hierbas que quieras, teniendo buenos beneficios. Por lo general la hago de frutos rojos con limón, o con menta, de naranja y piña o de la fruta que haya en la casa y muy seguido con albahaca.

Ya tenía tiempo que no hacía, porque la enana no es muy fan y prefería las aguas de frutas, pero hoy se me antojó y la hice con una raja de canela, naranja y manzana.

La puedes hacer en la mañana y dejarla unas 3 horas a que repose la fruta y machacando un poco la fruta para que suelte sabor. Yo no la endulzo, pero le puedes poner un poco de stevia natural o miel de abeja.

Queda perfecta para épocas de calor.

INGREDIENTES
1 litro de agua

1 naranja en rodajas

1 manzana sin semilla en rodajas

1 raja de canela

 

INSTRUCCIONES

  1. Mezcla todos los ingredientes y aplasta un poco la fruta con una pala de madera
  2. Deja reposar por lo menos 2 horas
  3. Sirve

Infused water is a delicious thing, it keeps the freshness of water but with a light fruity flavor. The truth is, I have always had issues with drinking plain water. Today, it is overcome, but it took me a lot to get the habit, and even more because I am a recovering addict of Coca Light, which I still miss, but the craving is decreasing.

I drink plenty of water during the day and before bed, and fruit water for lunch, but if I can have healthy options with flavor, I try them. This infused water is one of those options, you can mix whatever fruits and herbs you like, having health benefits. I usually infuse it with berries with lemon or mint, orange and pineapple or whatever fruit I have at home, and very frequently with basil.

It had been a while since I made infused water, since munchkin 1 is not a huge fan and she prefers fruit water, but today I felt like drinking it and I made it with a stick of cinnamon, orange and apple.

You can make it in the morning and let it rest for 3 hours and smash the fruit a bit to release its flavor. I don’t use sweeteners, but you can add a bit of natural stevia or honey.

It is perfect for hot days.

INGREDIENTS
1 litter water

1 orange in slices

1 apple seeded and in slices

1 cinnamon stick

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients and smash fruit a bit with a wooden spoon
  2. Let rest for at least 2 hours
  3. Serve
