Cocochata

Cocochata.jpg

Maca

Cocochata

I have been wanting to make this water for about a month, when a friend of my husband mentioned he craved it and I thought it was an excellent idea.

It is horchata water with coconut and it is one of those things you think “why didn’t I think of it before?” since I love coconut and horchata water. Now that I have made it I corroborate it is a great idea.

I made it with a combination of water and coconut milk and shredded coconut. The taste of the coconut is very clear but not overpowering the horchata. I blended it in Thermomix and added ice cubes to achieve a slushy consistency, so it would be super cold for lunch.

You have to let it rest so it has a great flavor, so I recommend making it early in the morning and blending it a little while before serving it.

Hugs,

Maca
